I would like to believe that we can discuss on this forum objectively, critically and in a friendly manner, the great challenges and problems that AMT causes us, but I note with regret that this objective is not achievable in any way. We all hide behind our finger and pretend not to notice the mockery we are subjected to, for fear of being kicked out! My conclusion is that this forum, like Turker view forum, does not produce anything good and constructive.
If this is not a good fit for you, and we are not a constructive community - there is no reason to be here.

Years ago there were petitions by turkers for a fair wage. Many schools/uni's signed on to that statement. But that is LONG gone. Mturk is dying.

The people that are making money right now have closed quals and even they are scratching around for work. If you follow the forum, you can see that most are working on other platforms, finding other online gigs, or jobs out in the world. A few are still working some closed quals that they have had for years.

Again, there is nothing out there to fix what is happening. There is also no advice we can give to anyone to fix their personal struggles. (I'm speaking as me - and I think for most people here - many of whom are better turkers than I). Mturk is dying a slow death. Unless amazon feels like it needs the money (and I don't expect this) - the platform will go under at some point. It is just what is happening.

put gas masks on them for their safety?

i can't believe east palenstine is going to be safe anytime soon with toxins probably going to leech into the underground groundwater reserve or kicked up into the air by normal winds.
yeah, if i could and if they understood i would. i have pics of bimbi and bambi, the youngest, at the fence line. they gradually came closer to us during summer and early fall. they stared at us. i took pics of them. we decided that the two were as curious of us as we of them. they even followed us once on our hike and close. along the fence line. then mating season came and now they stay away. doris and mildred are the older of the herd and they keep everyone in line. so, now bimbi and bambi can't visit anymore. they have to learn to be moms. but the older doe still pose for pics on their ridge and look at us with the curiosity with which we look at them.

also, they still have to eat and drink and if i understand, that is where the problems are entering the environment.

Watched a bunch of the Alex Murdaugh trial the last few days on YouTube. His voice is so slick and calm I can see why he was able to swindle so much money from his clients and law firm over the years. Anybody else here follow the trial?

I followed it! I think he definitely had a part in the murders but not sure he pulled the actual trigger. I think there was too much reasonable doubt. I feel like the jury really got this one wrong. Not saying he didn't have a part in it, but there just wasn't enough concrete evidence to prove that he did it.
Edit: Yes, he seems like a trustworthy person with his southern hospitality voice. You wouldn't think he'd swindle somebody like he did all those poor people.

I think your right. He didn't pull the trigger, but I think he might have hired someone to do it. Greed is a ugly thing and make people to bad things. Look at the Chrisley's no one was killed but the greed of living the high life got the best of them.

Yeah I agree that I was a bit surprised at the verdict, especially that the jury came back so quick. His ultimate downfall was when he repeatedly lied to the police saying that he wasn't down at the kennels. His son's cell phone video that showed his voice in the background changed the whole case. My biggest thing ( I know the prosecution doesn't have to prove motive) was why would he do it? By all accounts, despite his horrible business practice of stealing people's money, is why would he do it? The prosecution saying he did it to take people's attention away from his obstruction of justice case (involving the boat accident) just didn't make sense.

DQ'd on a jury study for failing an attention check after confirming my race. I'm pretty sure I did not fail that one lmao
oopsies happen to all of us... one time i got a rejection on a follow up survey n was like why... they responded with i had put a different gender from the first to the second survey, i obviously know my gender n wouldn't have purposefully put something different, sometimes we put the wrong thing n don't realize or the mouse jumps over n we've already moved on n don't see it... all kinds of reasons why mistakes happen..at least you got dq'd instead of a rejection after doing all the work
