I think the glasses specifically made for staring at a computer screen are different than regular sunglasses. I'm no expert but when I was researching it I think I read they are less effective than the special ones. ALSO, there are screen protectors that claim to reduce eye strain but I haven't tried them myself.

Oh yeah the sunglasses I'm wearing aren't like... normal they're round frame blue purply jobs, my eyes def feel better but I can tell it could be improved. I'll prob order a pair of Gunnars later when I'm squinting at the screen like I've got pinkeye or something. lol
Might also want to keep a pair in the car for night driving. For me it started young, with not being able to distinguish what was going on while driving in the rain, now it's if I have to drive at night, I might see double and it's not from drinking. I don't drink and drive. It's from tired eyes. The tints help with that.
