Nope. I wonder what would cause that?
Just the usual boilerplate emails that get sent out about not using human intelligence to complete HITs or whatever. I don't have a copy to share, but it's the same one that always gets posted.
It's so stupid because I've heard of people who don't even use scripts to complete hits getting that email accusing them of "boting"

Today's National Days:

National Pickle Day - what a great day! Pickles make a lot of things for me, whether it be hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and even extra pickles in my favorite roast beef sub.

National Spicy Guacamole Day - I'm the runt of the family because in a city with quality mexican food restaurants almost on every significant street intersection, I hate guac. I don't know how it happened, it just did while the rest of the family loves guac. I don't even eat avocado but I"m really good at buying it for the family to make homemade guac.

National Family Pajama Day - it says to wear pajamas all day and do some activities together as a family this evening all while wearing pajamas. Sounds strange to me except for the one family pajama christmas music video that was created a few years ago and was posted to Youtube.

Well I love pickles, pajamas, AND spicy guac so today should be a good day?

Unconvinced though.

Yeah, that's sorta the case here. One person doesn't even really turk anymore, but did those Zhous earlier in the week. Some that did those and got emails never used scripts. Which is why I was wondering if this is some widespread error or what.

so far, so good. I'm probably the only one that doesn't use scripts while working batches and I got no script warning message from turk today so I'm not being accused of being human.

Ive used a chrome extension that types what you say into any text box on a web page, I use is all the time on writing HIT's. Makes it 10x easier when I can just say it and have a program type it all out for me. I'm pretty sure that isnt violating any TOS because I know some disabled turkers who would use this too. I also have custom made macro scripts that click on pre determined areas of a HIT page to speed up the process. But Im still doing the clicking, so its not replacing my human intelligence. Never once got a warning from Amazon about botting yet.

Got this today:

This is a warning to let you know that we have identified activity associated with your Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) Worker account that is in violation of the MTurk Participation Agreement. Specifically, your account has been flagged for using robots, scripts, or other automated methods as a substitute for your human intelligence and independent judgment, which violates Section 3(b) of the MTurk Participation Agreement

The only thing I can think of is having two hits of a batch open at once. I haven't used scripts on hits for about 3 weeks....

So it seems like the requester thinks that bots are doing the work and complained to MTurk about it?

If you are having problems, contact me and I'll try giving you some ideas to fix a botched update based upon trying to fix a win10 startup (non-update caused) issue that I've had before.
Thanks I may have to take you up on that very generous offer at some point. It 'gathered' information, restarted and now is working but I just got a notice that the updates 'failed' to install and there's some message I cannot parse right now about installing an 'enabler package'. Gotta love those Windows updates.

idk. Zhou was a Google requester, and a bunch of other people did them without getting emails, including myself, so ?‍♀
