So, I was at the thrift store in town and found a Soya Joy yesterday.

For 4.00 :)
(I'm hoping I can find a better milk alternative than the ones I've been making in my Vitamix)

One of my daughters snapchatted me this picture of her cats with their brand new Renaissance portraits that she ordered of them. They don't seem to be too sure about them!

good idea but :nope:

takes me more than an hour to consume a fountain drink so this straw will disintegrate in my drink.
so will paper. only faster. I remember paper straws. Actually these have more of a chance and I bet with a pasta machine one can make one's own.

First warning for me would be that it wasn't "joy" for someone. But then I'm a person whose stomach rebels at Asian food these days since they started putting actual soybeans in stuff. I hate those things and so does my stomach.

I can return it if it doesn't work. But our local thrift store usually only gets things in working order - that's NOT my experience at the other thrift stores I shop at (in other towns). We're just nice people here :)

It can make a whole range of nut and grain milks, btw. It heats them up (which some folks don't like, since it isn't at nutritious). But I miss cow milk in my coffee (this is really a quest to find a way to drink non-cow milk with my coffee that makes me happy

Well, growing up on a real working dairy farm, you've got to have the cow, a goat, some chickens and a sturdy bovine beef blend. No pigs, kind of kosher. Drink that milk so you have strong bones my mom said. Sure, after a titanium plate in my wrist now, a back surgery and a replaced hip, it did a lot of good. Thanks mom.:inpain: Got to have half and half, got to have that cream in my milk, for coffee and baking but I don't literally drink the stuff.
