The best example that I can think of is either A9s or MLData (they use radio type buttons on some of them)....I don't see any up right now though......or Ben Peterson (that one is for judging dating profile photos), if you have a worker account, you can see what he has done. I don't know if that format would work with audio, but there are buttons and a small space to write things if you want.

-Sorry I'm not more help....some of the others on here might know more...
That's a great help.

I'd love to get a screenshot. Maybe I'll have to keep bringing this up until we have a little seren-dipity-doodah happening.

I don't qualify for anything except "has done 100 HITs" so I likely won't see much.

For something that simple, just having the audio player and a text field or radio buttons with choices is fine. If I was working on it myself, I would make the file auto play on load if visible, focus the text field, and make keys for any radio buttons and submit button. Workers won't mind adding in the extra stuff themselves to make it easier if it pays a decent wage.
Awesome stuff.

I haven't seen any of those in a few days lol....it's been a bit slow, but if I get one, I'll try to remember for you :)

So, say it's up to 50 words, and the audio is a minute long, but the words for the HIT start right at the 0:25 mark, and there's only 10 seconds worth of words, but like I said, some people talk fast.

I'd have all ten seconds of text above the audio and I'd tell you when your actual HIT text begins (0:25).

Tricky for me: A worker needs to identify which words need changing. So, maybe checkboxes in a tall scroller on the right having a checkbox for each and every word of the HIT, and magically, these words show up below that with a blank space for the correct one to get typed in.

Maybe the easiest way to do it would be to populate a text field with text you already have. Then the worker could just correct whatever needs correcting and sub.

I knew it from reading the instructions, and still did it :cliff: I was expecting demographics and a lone save and return button. Took a screenshot to prove I did the hit.
YEP same. I even read it at the top of the screen but was like "Nah it's going to ask me something else for sure" it just didn't seem like it was the end. Hopefully req responds favorably. Otherwise I cry myself to sleep.

Well... we just had day seven of the school year. Day eight will be a day off due to the hurricane and likely Friday (coastal NC). Sad news is we'll have to make these days up and it's possible we may have typical hurricane issues. I hope to use this time to rest and Turk!!

Yes! That's the direction I'll probably go.
It implies that this kind of functionality (jquery stuff) is something that Workers will be able to use if it's in my HIT html.
Yes it'll work if you do something like this.
Code:
<!doctype html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
  <meta charset="utf-8">
  <title>autocomplete demo</title>
  <link rel="stylesheet" href="//code.jquery.com/ui/1.12.1/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css">
  <script src="//code.jquery.com/jquery-1.12.4.js"></script>
  <script src="//code.jquery.com/ui/1.12.1/jquery-ui.js"></script>
</head>
<body>

<label for="autocomplete">Select a programming language: </label>
<input id="autocomplete">

<script>
$( "#autocomplete" ).autocomplete({
  source: [ "c++", "java", "php", "coldfusion", "javascript", "asp", "ruby" ]
});
</script>

</body>
</html>
Just make sure to link the .js and css files in the head.

once we get deeper into the school year and people actually start working on projects itll be better. Spring has always seemed to be the best time, but itll get better in the fall as time goes on...

and don't forget, all you newer turkers... you can also try

user testing

a 10-15 min user test is 10.00. I mostly use usertesting.com, but i also use validately and userlytics.

When I first started out on user testing a few years ago i ogt 1 test every other day, then as i got better i got several tests a day

mat dat $$$$
I am really disappointed in a User Testing Live Interview Requester for the very first time today!
