No code provided

So I just spent 45 min on a survey only to get to the end and there was no code provided. After I completed it I did see someone else must have been taking the same hit and had the same issue with no code provided. As a newbie is there anything that can be done? I can't see anyway of contacting the requestor by email since I was not able to submit the hit. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

usually, we just submit the HIT with our worker ID. Almost always (though not always, always) you will get paid. Just send them an email and tell them what happened. Some people take screen shots of the last page (w/o) code and include that.
What you can do now is look up their TO or Turker View information and then find out where to send off an email. You want to request that they make up a compensation HIT just for you.
