personally i have two hit forkers open (when im seriously turking. not right now). one set to get anything aobut a certain amount, usually .75 but sometimes higher or lower based on how busy everything is coming in. other forker set for anyting 0.02 + that comes in a batch of 10 or more. you learn from there what's worth doing. most batches that are under 5 cents arent worth it but a few are. once you get 5k hits there are more .05-10 cent batches that come up that are good pay and fairly regular

im new too, only since oct but i made $640 in jan
I made about $560.00 last month, with 49 still pending. So technically, I made close to $600.00. Can we count the PE? Not bad, considering that I didn't really get serious about turking until the 9th of last month. I made a whopping $28.75 in December. Christmas was...a day.

Happy Friday everyone! Not really Turking tonight...just not feeling it. My hours are so wonky...my husband passed on December 22 and then my 30 year old daughter od'ed and passed on the 14th. Every since if I can sleep more than 3 hours at a time I'm happy. Now I Turk at all different kind of hours. Thank heavens for Turk-because of it I can support myself after David's passing and not have to deal with a real job with actual people.
Holy crap. You're dealing with it better than I would, I'd be a flaming wreck.

I hope being able to Turk your way through is helping a lot.

That's good but you said you're really working a ton of hours for it. It'll get better. Try all kinds of HITs. Work on getting some PANDAs for your favorite people going all the time imo. This way you can just fire it up and without any work be looking for whoever is a steady money maker for you.

Okay even though I said I'm done I'm glad I caught the interior design HIT, because I think most interior design is terrible.

I'm so sorry about your family :( but I'm glad you're enjoying Turk's flexibility. I've never been a "schedule" type of person and I hated living and dying by a clock. I love being able to say "nah" one day and just make it up the next day. If I want to do something fun during the day, I just Turk a little more at night, or visa versa. The direct input > output is motivating to me, even when it's tedious or mind-numbing work.

Turking does help so much. The Lars hits-where you talk about different things is like therapy, oddly. As was the one with cussing! I was a wreck (actually suicidal) but realized I can't die. I can't. I have three cats and a dog that are all rescues and are completely unadoptable (various trust issues, ugly, and two bite strangers). Might be silly to some but keeps me alive.

That's what I like, too. If I don't feel it one day, I can just kick back. If I feel like busting my butt, I can do that too. Now I never make the 80-100 per day like many do, but, I'm a very "relaxed" Turker. I know exactly how much I need to make every day to pay my bills-if I make it in an hour that's cool. If it takes me 10 hours, that's cool too.

Oh my god. I'm so sorry that you're going through that. I can't even imagine. My uncle, my mom's brother, died last week, and my mom is currently in the hospital, having had her ventilator removed today. We don't know if she'll survive. I just want to talk to her again. I've been taking care of her for years, mainly just having to pick up her meds, cook for her, do her laundry, etc. She was always in poor health, but up until last month, she got around just fine. Then she went in the hospital with pneumonia, which turned into her having to have open heart surgery, and her health was up and down every day afterwards. Only two days ago, did we find out that she has a very slim chance of living. I have cried to the point where I am completely drained. I've been on here, constantly trying to keep my mind off of it, afraid that I'll get that phone call from my sister, telling me that our mom is gone. I visit her every day, but I just can't stay in there, watching the life fade away from her.

I'm so sorry for your losses, and I'm sorry I just unloaded there. I've been trying to keep this to myself. But I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. Nothing in this world is worse than losing your child, and I wish you the very best in life. No mother or wife should have to endure what you are enduring now. I'm not a religious man, but I'm sending a never-ending stream of love your way.

I've been having issues with Panda here lately. Some of the HITs aren't activating that heart-attack inducing rock song, and I don't know I have HITs, until I hear the ding, indicating that I only have five minutes left to finish it.

Talk to your mom because she CAN hear you. My husband was in a coma and woke up and he told me he heard everything I said. Talk to her and know she hears you. I am so sorry you're hurting. Sending prayers, love, and light your way.

Oh, I do. Only problem is, I can't talk for more than 10 seconds without crying. Then I worry that it will put unnecessary stress on her, for her to hear me cry. That woman loves me so much, and I don't know why. I'm her youngest, but I am a difficult person to deal with in person. Manic depression, social and general anxiety, PTSD. And those are my good traits. I'm not giving up on her. I never have, and I never will. But if she goes, I'll try to find solace in the fact that she has suffered most of her life, and would finally be at peace. Easier said than done. Thank you for the advice, and again, I am so sorry for what you are going through.
