I still <3 Noah though. He's by far who has paid me the most since I started in late Oct. I miss the chat bots... and the tracing
I did about 700$ of his stuff last year pre bonus, most of it all was really solid.

yeah cause some people are garbage and lie so she has to hide it.

disclaimer: I in no way endorse putting the requirements halfway into the survey. (short) Unpaid screeners never bothered me though.
If... if they'd lie when the requirement is in the title, wouldn't they lie when it's in the middle of the survey?

I would think heavier reliance on pre-quals like the Amazon Profile Information or on Prolific would be more reliable. People could still lie, but they'd have to do it well ahead of time.

This "doing literally anything" is messy business, I admit.

If... If it's revealed and not just screening them out. I guess I misunderstood what was happening.

Are the amazon profile information quals all required of everyone or is it voluntary information? I can't say I remember giving them a ton of information at sign up.

It's voluntary, but supposedly doing them gives you more quals for HITs, depending on what you put.

He made a new account, didn't he?
Yeah. Computer Vision Turk. But the ones I just saw posted were under Noah (not computer vision turk OR noah turk)

Is that actually him though? I know the name was similar at first, the last Computer Vision Turk batch I played around with said they were name changing to avoid being confused for other accounts though. I was kind of under the impression it was a different person from that.

I guess I'm saying the only real difference between stating it up front and putting it partway through the survey is how much time we have to take to find it. There's no difference with regards to whether people are going to be honest or not.

So I guess I'm not sure what problem it's trying to solve, other than "my hourlies are too high," which is A not true and B not a problem if it is true. :/

I was under the impression that it was Noah posting under that new account. But you might actually have it right, considering that he is (attempting) to post as Noah today. I thought it was him because of the HIT formatting/wording and the HIT itself (label all the x). I mean it was exactly the same as the old Noahs I did except for the "This task pays well over..." line (not being there) at the beginning. So I'm not sure, but I thought it was him.

It’s him. And that’s all I can comfortably say about that.

Are you saying you're him?
No definitely not. If anything, none of them are actually “the Noah” and that might be what actually prompted the name change. But, they really don’t want you to know who you’re working for. Allegedly
