I've felt the exact way many times. I still feel it every day, in fact. I think the most important thing to remember is that one of our strongest qualities is the need for survival. Like you said, we improvise to make ends meet, and we generally do.

I can really only tell you what everyone else would about facing your fears, but me personally I just got tired of hiding in my corner all the time and started pushing for advancement. Turk was not and is not something I wanted to do for anything other than some beer money. Though, its here to stay for however long, so its nice to fall back on. For what its worth, I believe in you. There's still plenty of things I can/do fuck up on a daily basis, but life would be quite boring if you weren't challenged in some capacity.

Now, I'm kinda stuck b/c not only to people not want someone in my situation, I have no transportation to be a reliable employee. So I haven't even been able to TRY in a couple years.

So... I might also be projecting... o.0
