Do you have a 4k TV? I own some 4k movies cause they were on sale and came with the Blurays, but now I want use them. The TVs aren't so bad in price now but the players are so expensive you might as well get a Playstation or an Xbox even if you don't play games cause they're cheaper. Plus Black Friday is almost here.
The funny thing is that 4k tv's are everywhere now, and yet the vast majority of us never watch 4K content. When you stream from Netflix or other places they compress the data a ton so at best you're seeing like really good high definition.

HDR though, that one you can really tell the difference. Movies and shows shot in HDR look effing amazing, and HDR gaming is awesome.

I can't wait until they come up with something new and my tv is obsolete in half a year.

Most people's internet can't handle 4K streaming. I don't even think mine can.

I don't have a Mac Plus, but I do have an LC and *3* Power Computing Mac clones, and an 8500 in pieces all over my couch.

I get a decent amount of stuff I clean and restore.
Oh damn, I've rebuilt a few Power Computing machines (was an Apple tech in a past life). Wonder how Apple would have fared had that company succeeded.

In mtruck news, Pending 1
This seems bad.

I suspect that was on Apple's mind when they revoked the licensing.

Hey thanks, was at my regular job all afternoon/night today but still got a few of these in. Mostly some dude who has some kind of lug nuts or something that aren't the market yet and some health inspector reports... which you'd think uh, wouldn't be relying on mturk. But here we are...

Hey everyone. I just moved my system from Mac to Windows.

So first I tried Firefox and that crashes once a day or more. So then tried Chrome but for some reason downloaded the beta instead of normal Chrome, and Tamper Monkey is crashing every few hours. So now gone to regular Chrome hoping for some semblance of stability.

Windows 10 + Chrome + TamperMonkey = reasonably stable? (Pray emoticon)

Cheers,
Lee

It should be. That's what I run on my main system. My work system is still on Win 7 because I need to get another W10 license, but that's probably next month.

Been running the W10 system for years and the only problem is *#%(#*&^#^ update management. I disable it and run updates manually every week or so (this is *not* a simple/easy process, BTW).

Pleco @Pleco, I wanted to show you this for Halloween, but I always seem to miss you when you're on. Oh, well. Better late than never.

It gave me a laugh. :)
Good lord, I am getting rotund. Time to cut back on that cheese.

Also happy extremely late Halloween.
