I'm 30 short on my waterbill cause the hubby lost his health insurance and that meant OOP for his meds, 1140 for 3 meds, like, can we melt him down for some money when he dies or something cause I want a return on that investment.

I did some research on reusing the human body (don't ask) and you could totally get some metal out of him, but it's a hassle.

I'm sorry healthcare is highway robbery though :(

Look up "prescription discount cards" online and talk to your pharmacist, mine keeps some of these cards around to run for discounts.

*Some* of them really work, though the prices vary, and are usually still higher than on insurance.

I've had 50-80% discounts of some drugs for a short period when I didn't have insurance.

I appreciate the input, I'm a social worker and have pulled out all the stops, this is as good as it gets for now. Appealing his medicaid decision. Unfortunately, you can't get billed by a pharmacy, his docs are being cool though.
