Well fellow turkers, I am officially quitting turk during the day. After 22 years of not being in the work force, my one and only daughter got married and left the nest a couple weeks ago. I went on an interview yesterday and got the job offer today! It's full time, permanent, full benefits, 401K and option to buy company stock. I am really excited because I will be working with my best friend, who I met when she started working at the same company I left when I got pregnant. Full circle. I might still turk some nights and weekends, but I am looking forward to a steady paycheck and especially benefits since I haven't had insurance in over 5 years. They have to do background check and I have to do a drug test, so I am tentative for starting October 22. Besides the benefits it's totally casual dress too, so leggings and tennies or flip flips and t-shirts everyday YAY!!!
