i've seen a couple of emails recently in the email i share with the other people who use the "IPsoft MTurk" account (aka the ninjas), coming from workers messaging through the site (apologising for accidentally submitting unfinished work). this is just a wee reminder that if you ever have a problem with them being unresponsive or whatever, please feel free to reach out to me and i'll see what i can do!

I've got a question for those who use MTS. Why is it if I set my search limit on HF to something low, like $0.03, it won't announce and highlight (like put up at the top of HF) the hits in my include list that are in the $1 range? I've googled around and looked through some forum posts on MTS but I can't figure it out.

There is a limit to how many HIT's HF will show on the page, so if you are starting at $.03 then it is going to pickup quite a few HIT's before it gets to the $1 HIT's. So, there may not be enough room on the page. You can change the settings to show more HIT's but even with the 100 HIT limit (page size) you still might not pickup the $1 HIT's. That is my understanding. Someone please correct me if I am wrong here. I run two tabs with HF. One for batches set at $.02 and another tab running at >$.25 for surveys. You might try a setup like that.

Not if you run the batch one at a much slower rate. You don't really need it to be fast.

If you are going to be setting a price limit for hits, use the block function liberally. Get rid of all that useless stuff so that it doesn't clog up your HF.
