I don't think they are the quals. The quals are 'decide if a video is about a topic'. These are "how much annoying foreign language vids can we make you watch before you quit".

if you did 9 right last year... shouldn't you have gotten the qual even though you didn't technically do 9 out of 10?
you still got 9 correct.

i did 6 out of 10 correct last year.
so I'm hoping I did 3 more correct this go around (out of the 6 hits I caught)

Nope. I didn't ever catch that 10th HIT so I didn't get the qualification. I even directed messaged the requester a few times, but no response. Oh well.

I suppose add me if its such an issue. Not that I feel much of a need to discuss sergeys, save for when they suck (just like people do with the covted 5s qual).

Maybe it won't feel as bad if I fail this qual test if it is a qual test. Failing OCMP5 again seems like it would be worse.

Maybe I just need some sleep.
