ok, that has been happening to me on them for the last week or so. really screws up the flow.
Exactly! Every time I have to reach for my mouse to refocus, it breaks my concentration. It's not even that serious, its just so annoying.

It's my tool box at work. When I realized I had to come up with a user name, I am so uncreative I looked at my Kennedy toolbox and chose that as my username  and avatar.
with a box that big, you are assured to always have the right tool for the job

I'm an electrician. I work in a plant and fix machines, or at least attempt to. :grimacing: Until this year, I spent most of my career (same location) in a wafer fab. I had to wear clean suits and work on equipment that had a lot of dangerous acids and gases. Wafer fabs are where integrated circuits are born. Not many in the US, and now one less.
There, that's what you get for asking about me: ramblings.

Just the person I was looking for. Can I ask you a dumb question? I have a subwoofer that the volume knob has gone to hell. Anyway, since it combines both L + R channels, and the knob just attenuates the the signal, can I assume the three wires that run to the little volume "board" with the knob on it are L+, R+ and GND. and I can just twist them together to bypass the non-functionality of the offending knob and it will run "wide open"? Then I can just limit sub volume with my eq.

Sorry. Don't answer if you don't want. Kinda just looking for confirmation so I don't get zapped.:)

Sorry to hear that. I was reading about this the other day, they said these plants are closing all over but twice as many in the US vs other countries. Something to do with wafer size (150mm-200mm)??

I think this stuff is so interesting, there are so many jobs that you don't even think of being a thing and then look..they're a thing! My husband has a toolbox like that, maybe a bit bigger though (he's a manual machinist..he makes stuff out of metal for other stuff..I don't really know lol).
