Why are the Dynasty Warriors games never on sale? A good hour or two of slaughter would be just the thing to ease all of this nitpicking-based tension...
If slaughtering swarms of enemies is what you desire, I'd recommend a game called Warframe. Free and has a great community. When Dynasty Warriors 9 left a sour taste in Jim Sterling's mouth, he found that he could tick off a lot of the same boxes in what he wanted from a DW game with Warframe.

Sneaky ninja edit :cautious:
OH
oh, ..oh no

I realized at the last moment that I was describing a movie I once saw
well, more of a documentary, like
but it was like.. well, let's just say there may not have been a camera crew
I mean, it was definitely a show
but like.. I think I saw it in person

I like Warframe, but I play it more as a stealth game. I haven't played a DW-style game in forever. I might buy a Switch just for Hyrule Warriors (and the tons of other games for it that I desperately want...hello Zelda), and Warriors All-Stars looks cool, AND Fire Emblem Warriors would be a good excuse to ogle Kamui while killing people...but sometimes I just want one of those classic crazypants DW or SW games.

You can't just watch 10.
You start off with 10 and end up marathoning the entire Yorknew arc.
I had to force myself to stop more than once. The Chimera arc started really slow for me, but it's picked up (not saying where I am in it, because almost anything is a spoiler). I'm just sad that new episodes are only going to start coming out in a few months, and I'll be back to weekly viewing.

Fair enough...I well know the allure of stealth in Warframe as one of the frames I main is an invisibility focused Loki. Good times, particularly with a group of online pals.

Still, I think HxH is the right call here, tis an exceptional example of its genre with only more recent shows like my hero academia giving it a run for its money.

Oh good. Got feedback that I used a sentence fragment instead of a sentence.

The "sentence fragment" was literally half of a full sentence. Full sentences are made of fucking fragments. "Sorry, but "The" is a sentence fragment, change it." Holy shit do I need some fictional violence in my life right now.

Yeah I felt that way about the Chimera Ant arc too. It picked up super fast though and probably tied with Yorknew as my favorite arc by the end. (Probably would've surpassed it if not for some of the slow pacing sometimes.)
It's one of my favorite series so I'm always hyped when I see people mention it lol. Have fun watching!

One of the things about me is that I'm both eager and hesitant to try new shows, and it just freezes me. I've been wanting to watch Hunter x Hunter since the ORIGINAL ANIME SERIES, and kept putting it off. I've binged 100+ episodes in about 3-4 weeks, which is actually a little low compared to my normal bingefests. I have to force myself to stop watching, it's so good.
