I would be right there... I remember asking, NO pleading (idk how to strikethrough on here at this time) to knock me out when I just needed a filling as a child... I am a bit older now... but have never had a root canal... or seen a dentist in 10 years..

Had one root canal couple of years ago. The worst part was keeping your mouth wide open for so long. Jaw was killing me. He was struggling to get all of the nerve.

That was my main problem with the whole thing too. I also have a relatively small mouth with puffy cheeks so keeping that shit open as wide as possible was a whole lot of fun.

Hopefully, you'll get a nice orthodontist. I had my braces for a little under two years. I wore the elastics like I was supposed to! He said so many people don't. When I got them off, he told me I'd been the perfect patient. He said, "You have really pretty teeth by the way. The shape and size of them are what people most request when they have cosmetic dentistry." He was the best!

I went through a lot on Google before I found one that had good reviews, etc. I'm actually seeing a periodontist first next week. So I picked a perio and an orthodontist. So I do hope they both turn out okay

I haven't been to a dentist of any sorts since before I started high school. So about 14 years. I regret it.

I had bad experiences as a kid and once I reached high school... I was like "never again". meh

I honestly don't know how I formed this gum issue.
I've brushed twice a day religiously, etc for as long as I can remember.

It might've been my diet. I don't know.

Just expecting the periodontist next week to say the worst honestly.
But hoping for the best

My gut is saying maybe a gum graft and deep root cleaning/etc.

and then hopefully i can get invisalign or veneers from the orthodontist the week/s after

i actually had my wisdom teeth taken out right before high school so that's not the issue

it's just my bottom teeth that's been driving me crazy the last couple months

been too nervous/scared to go to the dentist

but i have to do this before i lose these damn teeth

While it is not bad (idk what is bad...I dont think its bad) at the moment; I don't consider it bad compared to locals ( i live in alabama tho and have been in jail... ive seen bad)... but it is not what was after I got braces off back in the day for sure... I'll take an then/now before I go see a dentist maybe... prob not

I’m such a fraidy cat my dentist took my wisdom teeth out at the hospital.
I woke up feeling brave and put my clothes on and ripped my iv out. Then they gave me a mirror. I passed out. Young dumb and 20 heh

I've had this bar on my bottom teeth since after braces; they said I need it forever... which might have been good... I grind my teeth in sleep; probably why my top teeth are off-set (as well as not wearing that retainer thing)
