Well, Gandalf led the rebellion against Vlad. Things were looking rather dire. Captain Picard was watching aboard the starship Enterprise. But he couldn't interfere because of the prime directive. Then Randy Rhoads was like "fuck this", and distracted him with some totally sweet guitar riffs. Allowing him to stab Vlad in the heart with his flying V.
