"I just sent them a pretty lengthy message explaining the speeds at which "professional" turkers can complete these surveys..." Why don't you post that portion? Be interested in reading what you wrote.
Like you can't already read everything on my computer... I'm on to you buddy.

not a bad idea.
sometimes i let hits sit for a bit before i submit them. just in case they see it was submitted in 10 minutes and they think it should have taken 15.
or i dont start working on it til 10 mins later.
It just bugs me that despite the fact that surveys have a mile long consent form they dont bother to say we are monitoring your browser time's and accessing your clock. Then they use said privacy violation to justify unfair rejections.

I'm fairly certain it's the timer on MTurk... they can see that time/when you submit it. Maybe I'm wrong.

Can't they probably just see it on their end though? It seems like either amazon or qualtrics/whoever would just have that information available.

i have not! was thinking about it for my kids
I kind of like it. We usually get him a bunch of body washes/axe sprays and stuff to put in his stocking, but now that he doesn't live with us, I've been sending it randomly through the year in his seasonal packages.

ETA - Also, the gift kits we usually buy around Christmas are usually $10, so this seems like a good deal.
