That's a good question. I keep seeing it around, but I guess I've been skeptical. Hopefully I'm wrong.
QueenOfScreams @QueenOfScreams it pays out but there's a ton of down time where you have to let it sit there and go do something else.

a shit-ton of writing for 6$, but the amount of time worked is not too bad-ish if you're a quick typer and you work with effort.

I just wanted to warn you guys about something. Most would probably side-eye this email like I did considering various things about it, but I thought I'd say something in case someone might not know better. I got an email from Amazon (supposedly) that looked pretty suspicious. The subject line was: "Alert : your account has been Closed !!" First thing I thought was, "Wow, they seem awfully excited about it."

The body of the email was as follows:
"We take you to note that your account has been Closed for protection
Where the password was entered more than once, In order to protect account has been suspended
Please update your Account Information To verify the account"

I laughed at the "We take you to note" part. Superior English skills! Anyway, there's a link to confirm account details (uh huh). I just logged into my account and everything is fine. My password works, etc. I just thought I'd say something about it in case others have gotten this message.

Turking is easy today
I'm not talking about the mechanics, if you are new to turking even with the scripts, a master turker or someone with 10k plus hits, gonna have an easier time making money faster am I wrong? I'm not hating on people that make money, I'm just stating that as a new turker you won't make what some of the old school turkers if you will.... make in 3 hours.

You can forward it to Amazon at stop-spoofing@amazon.com to help them cut down on some of that. Full page: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201127830

Yuck, definitely a scam. Who is the email supposed to be from? Amazon?

Have you factored in the increased work ethic the person who has been around for a while likely has?

Absolutely more of this than anything. Especially being new these days with all tools and guides dropped in your lap. Just for a second imagine opening turk in 2008 and trying to figure out wtf you were doing haha and doubly for me since I knew fuck all about computers then (still computer stupid to be honest but I make good money)

lemme restate what I meant since there seems to be confusion. I'm not talking about the mechanics, IE coding, how to gather hits, how to script, how to add extensions ect, Im talking about how the experience for a new turker is, and the limitations compared to someones that been turking since "2008".. If we are talking about work ethnics that depends on the individual for any job not just turking. You get what you put into it.. But like most jobs seniority reigns supreme. I can see how you guys talk to each other, this environment reminds me of being in a break room , and the old workers are conversation, laughing, showing pics ect, while the new workers are staring at the microwave waiting for their top ramen to finish. Just how it works online or irl...
