These are my go-to pencils now. My husband gave me the 150 count set in July when they first went on sale. The blender pencil is also a game changer.

Completely understand the feeling. I was terrified to touch them at first. I ended up looking at her paintings online as a guide because they are so beautiful. You do wonderful shading though so you'll be a natural at this book!

I'm going in order, because its a weird quirk I have that was recently pointed out to me. Just finished the page with the skulls and roses at the bottom (pg 5 I think)

I'm really glad you showed me the gallery thing for the books, I don't really know how to shade that well (I just kind of guess and hope for the best) and copying her is helping, lol!

The next picture has wolves in it - no idea how to even start on them! I foresee a lot of zooming in on her paintings to get an idea of the fur.

She's coming out with a mermaid coloring book soon. I hope she has a gallery available for that one too.

You did an awesome job! I actually really like the black with the teal floor. It really sets it off and makes it look like a painting. Her wings are also amazing - they pop!

My oldest turned 18 this week and mostly wanted a bunch of "grown up" art supplies. He got some Inktense pencils and I borrowed them tonight to work on this.

I'd never heard of them before you mentioned them (or I forgot) and they look super interesting. When I'm done saving for things I might look into getting some :o
