Posting this message on behalf of the Requester Work Skills First, Inc. Please note I have nothing to do with the survey itself, or approvals/rejections:

"I work for the requestor of a Prescreen that if passed sends the worker to one of 4 HITs (Survey CVB16720, Survey CVB16730, Survey CVB16740, Survey CVB16780). I received all data that I needed for Survey CVB16720, but I continue to need about 200 more respondents each on Survey CVB16730, Survey CVB16740, Survey CVB16780. The Prescreen pays 0.20 and the survey pays $9.40. The surveys have automatic page advancers so you need to take the survey in one sitting.

If you qualify for a HIT, the HIT gives you a Qualtrics link to complete the survey. At the end of the survey, you are a given a survey code that you need to post into the HIT and then submit the HIT. It is best if you cut and paste the survey code so as to enter it accurately. If you don’t take the survey and make up some number and enter it into the HIT, you will not get paid.

To get paid for the HIT survey, there are two key things to remember:
1. You need to answer ALL of the example questions that are in the instructions for each section of the survey. Those who are unwilling to do this, please do not take the HIT because you will not get paid. Some may be unable to complete all of the example questions due to issues related to attention. If you have difficulty focusing your attention for an hour and 15 minutes, please do not take the HIT. If you miss any of the example questions, you will not be paid.

2. In addition to the sample questions, there are attention questions throughout the survey. You need to get ALL of the attention questions correct to be paid. An attention question is one that you will get correct if you read it. For example, you may be asked to enter an X in the answer box. None of the attention questions are difficult. If you read all questions before answering them, you should get them all of the attention questions correct. Some workers appear unwilling to read questions before answering them. If that describes you, please do not take the HIT because you will not get paid if you miss ANY of the attention questions. Some may be unable to complete the attention questions due to issues related to attention. If you have difficulty focusing your attention for an hour and 15 minutes, please do not take the HIT. If you answer any of the attention questions incorrectly, you will not be paid.

Some respondents have written comments indicating that some sections are hard. I know this. You will get paid, regardless of how you perform on the survey, as long as you answer ALL of the example questions and get ALL of the attention questions correctly.

Note that it likely difficult to answer all of the example questions and the attention questions, if you are in a rush. If you do not have an hour and 15 minutes to complete the survey without interruptions, please do not take the survey.

Depending on how you answered some of the survey questions, you may be invited to share your survey code with your work supervisor and are given a link to the supervisor survey. The supervisor survey asks for a short appraisal of your job performance. Neither you nor your supervisor get paid anything if the supervisor completes the survey. However, if you are given the opportunity, I would appreciate it if you referred your supervisor to the supervisor survey URL and provided the survey code to the supervisor. The supervisor does not see your survey responses and you do not see the supervisor responses.

Thank you very much reading this."
