"Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) offers a set of Command Line Tools (CLT) that allow Requesters to publish HITs, retrieve and approve results, assign qualifications, and more. The CLT can be used directly from a Windows Command Prompt, Mac OS Terminal, and Unix Shell. Using these tools, Requesters can get started quickly with MTurk without having to write code. Requesters commonly use these tools to prototype new HIT concepts quickly, manage Qualifications in bulk, schedule HITs to be published and retrieved as part of a scheduled job, and more...

Today we released a new update to the CLT. This release fixes several known issues including updating a connection URL to use an HTTPS connection instead of HTTP and updating the CLT to work with the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment. We have also simplified the Getting Started Guide included with the CLT package. These changes should help customers start using the tools faster."
